About Hayley

Yoga found me when I first travelled to India as a teenager. Something in me lit up there, a quiet flame that has never gone out. Since then, my life has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the mind, the body, consciousness and the gentle ways we heal.

I studied psychology at university, drawn to understanding human behaviour, emotion and awareness. At the same time, I began my training with the British Wheel of Yoga, discovering the beautiful meeting point between science, spirituality and lived experience.

Ayurveda, meditation and yogic philosophy soon became part of my everyday life—not just practices, but ways of listening, observing and being.

Over the years I’ve explored many schools of yoga including Sivananda, Satyananda, Bikram, Ashtanga and Iyengar. I’ve taught in international schools across Portugal and Spain, supported meditation retreats, and worked with communities who might not otherwise have access to yoga.

My path has taken me through classrooms, retreat centres, shalas, primary schools, hospitals, universities and small community halls, each one teaching me something about presence and compassion.

Today, I teach yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic approaches here in Oxfordshire. My classes are gentle, rooted and inclusive, always offering space for people to arrive as they are. I believe in clear guidance, mindful movement and creating room for each person’s own relationship with yoga to unfold naturally.

I continue to work in schools, with families, with holistic therapists and within the community, sharing practices that support wellbeing, grounding and connection.

Above all, my hope is that my work brings a sense of peace, spaciousness and remembrance: a moment to breathe, soften and come home to yourself.
